Meditation Relaxation Classes
Sitting in the stillness, letting go of those unwanted thoughts and the anxiety of thoughts that can be disturbing. Clearing the mind and stopping it from being a chattering "Monkey Mind" to a mind that is peaceful, balanced, controlled and in harmony.
Meditation has been around for thousands of years and has flourished over the last 2,000 years in many countries. Meditative techniques are practices in all of the world's major religions...Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism. Prayer is a form of Meditation. My belief (briefly) in the difference of Prayer and Meditation is that:
In Prayer we are consciously (the mind) asking/talking to the Higher Power for what we need/want. (Please help my sick child to get better, I am worried about....etc...)
In Meditation we still the mind and not ask for
anything specific going deeper into the sub-conscious and connecting to the Higher Power through our heart/feelings working with our Higher self and the higher energy/vibrations to reach that feeling of Peace. The deeper we go into Meditation the deeper sense of Peace and total Bliss.
Benefits of Meditation include:
Decreases tension...Strengthens the Immune system...Recharges the batteries...slows down ageing process..calms, soothes, energises, enhances sense of self...promotes better concentration...improved memory...able to stay centered under pressure...self confidence...better tolerance...joy...happiness.. younger looks...decrease in stress...etc.
Using deep breathing and Visualization techniques allowing you the feeling of calmness and peace to flow through your mind and body Connecting to your soul and allowing you to just be you!....With my guidance using points of concentration and gentle deep breathing techniques, allow this session to be your space and time only for you reconnecting to who you are without any judgement, discrimination, or stress from the outside world.

Try this example and see if it works for you.....
At this present moment notice how you feel and how your mind is (is it a Monkey mind! chattering non stop?)......please take a big deep breath.....then breath through your nose and blow gently out of your mouth....slowly....do this three times....as you do this feel your body relax....close your eyes and take your mind to the Ocean and visualise yourself standing on the warm sand barefoot with a cool gentle breeze blowing on your face and blowing gently through your hair....feel the peace as you look out to sea and see three dolphins playing in the water splashing around and having fun in the sea...notice the water is a beautiful turquoise blue, you also notice there is a big pelican flying past you what a big powerful bird...you take another deep breath and bring your attention back to where you are sitting...notice how your body feels now....and notice if your mind has changed from a Monkey mind to a peaceful mind?... Allow yourself to feel a sense of calmness...imagine feeling this sense of calmness most of the time!...take it with you wherever you go.....enjoy.
