Reiki embraces all philosophies of systems of thought.  It is a flow of energy from the Universe >>>>through the healer>>>>to the recipient.  It will go to where it is needed in the body.  The flow of life energy is what keeps us alive. Stress, Tension and our thought patterns can create blocks and therefore imbalances the flow.  These blocks are reflected in the body and can manifest as disease.

Reiki practitioners are NOT healers, we are channels of the Universal Life energy flow of Reiki we don't control where it will go.
